Michelle & Brian's Unbridaled Session | Milwaukee Trash-the-Dress Photographer

Adam and I were so excited for Michelle and Brian's Unbridaled Session! It's so much fun shooting brides and grooms during these sessions... not only do we not have to worry about getting dirty (but don't worry, we don't actually trash your dress), but we also get to shoot in some fun locations! The last one we photographed included locations like a church festival and Miller Park, and as you can see below, Michelle and Brian's took place at a construction site and a bowling alley :) The construction site has something to do with a very funny story from one of their first dates, and we stopped at a bowling alley because they're both on a league together! Definitely very different settings from their Villa Terrace wedding just over a year ago! You might also recognize Michelle and Brian from their adorable daughter's two-year photos :) Anyway, here are a few of our favorite photos from their session...





















In between locations, we stopped to pick up an anniversary card for Brian's parents (happy anniversary!)... Brian and Adam and I thought it'd be hilarious if Michelle went in to get the card, but I was nice and went with her for support :) Of course I couldn't help but take a couple photos of her while we were in there! And the reactions of fellow customers were priceless!

Laurie & Jordan's Unbridaled Session: Part 2

We recently posted the first half of Laurie and Jordan's Unbridaled Session (since we had so many favorites, we decided to break it up in two posts).

For the second half of their session, we hopped all around Milwaukee: The Harley Davidson Museum, Miller Park and the RiverWalk. As we mentioned, their One-Year Wedding Anniversary is coming up, but to go back a bit further, Jordan proposed to Laurie on the RiverWalk... making it pretty meaningful to do some of the photos there :)

If you could take your wedding photos anywhere, where would it be? If you can't make it there on your wedding day, it's awesome to do an Unbridaled Session (aka trash-the-dress) there!

Laurie & Jordan's Unbridaled Session

We had the pleasure of photographing Laurie and Jordan's wedding last year, and it was so much fun for us to be able to shoot them again for their Unbridaled Session, aka "Trash-the-Dress." And, it's just in time for their approaching One-Year-Anniversary! I think it's every bride's dream to wear her dress again... so why not?! It also gave us a chance to get some photos that we couldn't on their wedding day... we didn't have to worry about time or getting a little dirty.

We have lots of favorites from their session, so we're going to break them up in two blog posts. For the first part of the shoot, we had some fun with balloons and then hopped over to St. Veronica's Festival in Milwaukee.

Unbridaled Session ~ Robin & Justin, Punta Cana

Not only did Amy (of Ardent Photography) and I photograph Robin and Justin's wedding, but we also had a blast photographing their "Trash-the-Dress" session, or what Adam and I call "Unbridaled Session" (because your dress doesn't actually get trashed).

It was a whole day of ocean fun- earlier in the day, Amy and I took a glass-bottom boat to the coral reef for some snorkeling, and then in the evening shot their session :) Here are a few of my favorites...











Here's an awesome shot Amy took of me while I was getting the shot below this one. I was waiting for a nice wave and got what I asked for when a huge wave came crashing in, soaking me to my shoulders! I got the shot, then raised my arms to protect my camera (aka, my baby ;) Not the first time I got soaked while shooting, and definitely not the last- I love that stuff!







Adam and I would love to shoot an Unbridaled Session at a carnival or festival. Any takers? Any other fun or unique places you can think of?
