With 2,958 votes in a week, the results are in for our Best of 2009 Contest!

Without further ado...

In 1st Place with 24% of the votes is "Proud Papa" from Ali & Tim's wedding! Ali and Tim win a Metal Mosaic or Gallery Wrapped Canvas with the image of their choice.

In 2nd Place with 22% of the votes is "Lovin' in the Leaves" from Bethany & Matthew's engagement session! They win an art board wrap with the image of their choice.

It was so much fun for us to see how excited people got about the contest! Granted the prizes probably had a bit to do with it, but we also got lotsa love email from people we never met who wanted to compliment our work. Words can't describe how much that means to us :)

Reminisce: Best of 2009 Contest ~ Vote today!

Vote for your favorite image! The first place winner with the most amount of votes will receive their choice of a Metal Mosaic or Gallery Wrapped Canvas with an image of their choice. It was unbelievably difficult to choose our favorite images from this year... so much so that we limited our selections to engagements and weddings for our Best of 2009 Contest.

As you've probably noticed, we post our favorite photos from each wedding or shoot on our blog. For weddings alone, we've posted over 1,200 of our favorites this year! So if one of your photos didn't make the top 25, don't think we didn't love your images! There are just only so many favorites that could make it to the contest.

There's this magical moment that happens when you know you "got the shot." Everything comes together perfectly... composition, lighting, timing, expression, feeling, etc. To select the photos that made it to our Best Of 2009 nominees, we sat down and made a list of those images and moments that came to mind. Then we edited them down further from there.

Without further ado, here are our Best of 2009 nominees! Don't forget to cast your vote at the bottom! You may vote once per day. Voting ends one week from today at midnight (February 3rd).
