Our new nephew, Evan! ~ Newborn Session

As you may have seen by recent Tweets or status updates, Adam and I have a new nephew!!! He’s such a lucky kid with amazing parents and the help and love of his two big sisters, Ava and Grace!

We posted some photos when he was just a bun in the oven, and below you can take a peek at this new little man, Evan...





Along with the belly-to-belly shot in their last session, another family tradition is a newborn photo with their dog, Brook.

Even though sucking her thumb isn’t Grace’s best habit, it’s absolutely adorable :) Grace calls Evan “Baby Ev” and plops her toys on him to share (except Cuddly Bear).



Ava showers Evan with kisses and proudly shares stories about him...

Welcome Max! ~ Newborn Session

One of our favorite parts of our job is when we photograph a couple's wedding, and then get to see their families change and grow!

You might recognize Liz and Lance from their wedding that we photographed last year. Adam and I were thrilled to hear that they were expecting, and even more excited when we got the call from Lance at the hospital, wanting to schedule their Newborn Session with Max!

I stopped at their house last week and got to meet this new little man in person... isn't he adorable?! Max just so happened to get quite hungry while I was there, so while he was snacking, I walked around their house and captured a bit of the baby-ness that has taken over their home :)

Lance found his childhood baseball glove (you can even see his name written in it), that was the perfect prop!







I also tried to give their dogs some attention so they didn't feel left out ;)



Max smiled for us!

Welcome Ella! ~ Newborn Session

Born just two weeks ago, Baby Ella already has such an adorable personality! There was a new person in the house (me) and she wanted to party! No napping for this social baby :) So we got lots of photos with those beautiful eyes hamming up the camera... with a few yawns in between. As you can tell, the camera loves her! Ella and her super proud first-time parents were beaming sunshine and a joy to photograph. Congratulations on your new addition, Natalie and Pete!
