Carolyn & Scott's Wedding ~ Olympia Gardens / Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield

Carolyn and Scott have such a cute story: They met at the wedding of Scott's brother (his Best Man, Nick) and Carolyn's friend (her Matron of Honor, Julia). They hung out the entire reception at Julia and Nick's wedding, dancing and having fun... so it was really cool for them to be able to share their first dance as Husband and Wife at the same place they had their first dance as a couple: the Sheraton :)

To back it up a bit, they had a beautiful ceremony at Olympia Gardens. Carolyn and Scott's Pastor from their church in DC flew in with his wife to officiate the ceremony, and he did an amazing job. It was really touching to see the bond that he shared with the two of them throughout the ceremony, and all the guests were really moved.

Carolyn and Scott had a really unique addition to their ceremony: to represent their commitment that they will serve each other first before anything else throughout their marriage, they washed each other's feet...







After Communion, Carolyn and Scott each said a private prayer under the gazebo.

P.S. I (Miranda) went to high school with Carolyn, and it was so cool seeing (and photographing) her all these years later. I'm so happy to see that she's living such a fulfilling life :)
