Alison & Chad's Wedding ~ Boerner Botanical Gardens

Alison and Chad may look a bit familiar to you, as we posted some of their First Look photos on the blog a couple weeks ago.

Adam and I had an awesome time photographing their engagement session last year and hanging out at Victor's afterwords (where they first met), and we couldn't wait for their wedding! (For you non-Milwaukeeans, Victor's is a bar/club jokingly referred to as Victim's. Go there and you will get hit on. So it's a funny and cute story that they met there.)

Their garden themed wedding at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI was absolutely gorgeous. They didn't neglect any detail (from flower petals in the grass to the delicious menu), and we were totally blessed with gorgeous weather after a week of rain (though I think we would have been ok if it rained, since their faces radiate sunshine... seriously :)

Here are some of our favorite photos from their day...

Alison had a little nail crisis and her sisters came to her rescue, giving her a last-minute mani before the wedding.

Their ceremony was so touching. Our favorite part was when they held each other's hands, imagining their future together as Husband and Wife.

I got super excited about this shot and showed Alison and Chad right away. Alison got all teary-eyed... we love moments like that :)

Here's a fun shot Adam got of me while I was standing on top of the waterfall shooting the photo directly below this one.

For their wedding party, they had Alison's three sisters and Chad's brother. They were an awesome looking bunch, and so close.

Bartolotta's fixed a sampling of each hors d'vour for Alison and Chad...

Chad shocked us all when he mushed the cake into Alison's face. But like the gentlemen he is, he helped her wipe her face afterward :)

I think Chad's brother might win the award this year for Best Speech! Chad proposed to Alison in a poem he wrote her, so the best man wrote a poem for them. So cute!

Congratulations, Alison and Chad! It's clear that you two are made for each other!

The next time we're in Chicago, we'll have to meet up! :D
