Happy Anniversary Megan & Adam ~ Oostburg / Sheboygan

On June 14, 2008 Megan and Adam were married, and their family and friends were radiating with joy. I knew it was going to be a beautifully emotional day when I walked into the room where the girls were getting ready. Megan had just started reading a long letter from her husband to be, and was full of tears of joy. Looking at her mom and bridesmaids, they were all sharing in the moment, just as touched as she was. I love it when moments like that start off the day :)

















The ceremony was really personal, even cracking a few jokes about Adam. We love this shot of Adam's slight embarrassment and the two of them totally cracking up.







This shot of Megan and one of her bridesmaids helping with her dress is so powerful. Between the gorgeous sky and the angle, it really captures Megan's fabulousness and the magnitude of her dress.

















At the end of the night, two of their groomsmen surprised Megan and Adam with an awesome (and HILARIOUS) lip-sinking and dance routine. Everyone was laughing so hard they were crying!



Since then, we've had the pleasure and honor of photographing her sister Mara's engagement photos, and even an anniversary session for her mom and dad. It's such a great feeling being invited into people's lives and watching their families change and grow. Thanks so much!
