Margie and Randy weren't scared of a little superstition when they picked their wedding day of "Friday the 13th," June 2008. When the family-caterer crashed on the way to the wedding, though, we were a little worried that perhaps the superstitions were true. Fortunately all was well, however! Everyone was safe, the cake was salvageable, and we all enjoyed delicious food :)
They had such a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Old World Wisconsin. It was supposed to rain, but they totally lucked out with perfect weather, so we were able to move their beautifully decorated arbor outside of their tent.
We love these candid shots of Margie and Randy's anticipation before the ceremony.
Margie and Randy's grandchildren, Noah and Ariana, were such cute little stars at the wedding! While walking down the aisle, Noah decided that he wanted to carry the basket of petals, and Ariana was more than happy to share. And when he stumbled in the middle of the aisle, Ariana helped him up and they got his hat back on... backwards. It was so cute :D
Isn't the look on Randy's face seeing Margie walk down the aisle priceless?
During photos, we found a couple furry caterpillars on Randy's tux. Caterpillars symbolize that all things come in nature's time... a really fitting symbol on their wedding day, since they had known each other their whole lives and now FINALLY are together as a couple!
During our Bride and Groom shots, Margie and Randy stopped at a bench to relax for a little bit... where Randy gave her a sweet little foot massage. What a great husband!
The night was complete with an intimate and fun barn-reception with plenty of dancing!
Ariana decided to join them during their first dance :)
Congratulations, Margie and Randy, on your One-Year Anniversary!
