Adam and I were excited to shoot Sam and Dan's Anniversary Session, not only because of the fun locations (the high school where they met and the spot Dan proposed), but also because we've had the pleasure of watching their relationship grow. I (Miranda) have been friends with Sam for NINETEEN years and despite what Dan thinks, did like and approve of him for my friend/sister since the beginning of their relationship :) It's been an honor to photograph their wedding and their two children (Yay! Two more sessions around the corner... speaking of, Sam, we need to schedule those), and also an honor to pay homage to their relationship with their 10-year Anniversary Session. We're truly blessed to have such amazing friends...
And without further ado, here are some of our favorites from their session...
We started out at St. Francis High School, where they began as high school sweethearts :)
... and hopped the fence to get some cute shots on the bleachers...
We continued our shoot downtown, at the exact spot Dan proposed (below). After he proposed, they made a visit to the Milwaukee Art Museum, so we incorporated the MAM into their photos, too. The shelter of the architecture worked out nicely, since right when we got downtown, it started to rain. It's fun when the elements inspire and challenge us...
Happy 10-Year Anniversary! Love you both!
