Maria and Darin's wedding was packed full of excitement, love, tradition and fun. The day started off at St. Mary Parish for the first of their two ceremonies. Their Catholic ceremony was full of personal stories... how they met, fell in love, bring balance to each other's lives and bring out the best in each other. Humor certainly wasn't neglected, as laughter filled the church frequently!
They had two priests performing their ceremony, one in English and one in Vietnamese...
Definitely one of the largest family photos we've taken! They must have done this before, because they all spaced themselves out very nicely! :)
Next, we were off to Maria's parents' house. Maria excitedly awaited her groom, while Darin and his family presented gifts to her family...
Maria then joined their families downstairs for their Vietnamese ceremony.
The two sets of parents introduced their families...
Darin's mother adorned Maria with gifts of jewelry.
All of their guests enjoyed a DELICIOUS Vietnamese buffet in the back yard!
We were then off to the Boerner Botanical Gardens for their formal dinner reception...
Such a beautiful bride!
They had a vibrant, tropical theme, complete with a steel drummer and martini luge!
Maria (in her third gown) and Darin visited each table to toast with their guests, thank them for coming, and receive their advice and blessings.
At one table, the guests had them play a game... Maria had to move a spoon from one of Darin's pants-legs to the other! Hilarious!!! :)
Aren't they sweet?!
Darin, trying to guess which set of hands belonged to his wife :)
Congratulations, Maria and Darin! You're a great match, and with the support of such amazing family and friends, your marriage is sure to flourish!
We had a fabulous time photographing your day!

Thank you so much! These photos are brilliant! I have gotten nothing but rave reviews from friends and family! You did a wonderful job of finding and capturing "the moment" in each photo. They all show so much life and animation. We are so pleased with your work, a quick blog just does not describe it!
