Reminisce: Featured Artwork at Sven’s Cafe

One of our favorite things to do is eat. One of our favorite places to eat is Sven’s Cafe. Turns out, one of Sven’s favorite things is artwork. Happy day!

First, I’ll tell you a little about Sven’s Cafe. I (Miranda) usually get bored with sandwiches. Seems most restaurants have the most boring sandwiches in the world. I like food that excites my taste buds (flashing back to the scene from the movie Ratatouille when the main rat is teaching his brother rat about combining flavors), and the generic meat + cheese + mayo combo just doesn’t do it for me (sorry Adam). When we randomly decided to try Sven’s Cafe a few years ago, I was SO excited to see ingredients like artichoke, chipotle aioli, brie, avocado, eggplant, and roasted red pepper. Top it off with sandwich names like “Rock of Gibraltar” and “Renoir,” along with a Euro-vibe and walls covered in art... and I’m in Heaven!

Now, to the point. We are excited to announce that a collection of our photos is currently featured at Sven’s Cafe. Sven is a major art lover and collector of all things interesting (he has stories about every piece in his cafe... from the lights to the record player), and he asked us to display some of our work! Take a peek at his website (by the way, the menu is so much bigger than the one on his site), go grab a bite, and check out our artwork! :)

  1. Miranda,
I have a similiar interest in foods that have flavor and spices. I haven't tried out Sven's cafe, but it was always on my to-do-list. I'll have to check it out along with your art-work! :)
